Compass and its owner John VanSteenkiste strung my law office along for weeks about 4-6 jobs that they ultimately just never did (some were simple skip traces, others service of process, and constructive service). I worked with their predecessor for years prior to Compass taking over, and it has been a disaster ever since. Usually when the owner calls you personally to insist that you will get updates within a week, you get some response. Not with these guys. Totally incompetent. Stay far away.
